Welcome to the National Center of Clinical Testing in Optometry (NCCTO®) located in Charlotte, North Carolina at the main headquarters of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO®). This testing facility offers the Part III Clinical Skills Exam (CSE®) for candidates seeking licensure in optometry. Below you will find all of the pertinent information and links regarding the CSE, traveling to Charlotte, and other special instructions.
Candidates who plan to register for multiple exams on the same day should schedule the exams with enough time to complete each exam. Please allow 3 hours 45 min for CSE and 1 hour for ISE.
